Marketplaces are locations where vendors come together to sell their products or services to customers.  These marketplaces (commonly referred to as markets) may be physical platforms offering a daily, weekly, or seasonal opportunity for sales e.g., a farmer’s market or local artisanal market. Markets may also connect vendors on a virtual platform, to a regional or global curated customer base.
